Anna is considered by many to be the greatest cyclist of all time and in Rio became the first Australian athlete to win four individual medals at four consecutive Olympic Games.
During her 15 year career as an elite athlete Anna collected 18 gold medals, 16 silver medals and 10 bronze medals at Olympic, World and Commonwealth Games level. She was named Australia's flag bearer and team captain at the 2014 Commonwealth Games and 2016 Rio Olympics, one of only 4 athletes to have this honour.
After 22 years involved in the sport, she retired the most decorated female athlete in the world with 11 world titles.
She commentated the Tokyo 2020 with channel 7, was the General Manger for the Australian Commonwealth Games team in Birmingham 2022 and will lead the Australian Olympic Team to Paris in 2024 as the Chef de Mission.
