Ian leads the Healthcare & Retirement Living Transaction Services team across Colliers Asia Pacific. An expert in developing strategies to attract and retain talent and transacting assets, Ian is known for having strong leadership skills and delivering exceptional service to clients.

Ian has been involved in the health sector for over 20 years, first in a service capacity through banking and

finance and second in a governance capacity working with not for profits providers in aged care.

Throughout his career he has lead transactions and managed client facing businesses with end-to-end responsibilities. In healthcare he has led the funding and underwriting of numerous acquisitions. Ian has a demonstrated ability in managing and delivering complex, high value, technical outcomes within short timeframes.

Ian has a strong background as a business leader in corporate and institutional finance business, including specialist roles as Head of Health at St George Bank, Director Corporate at NAB Health, Associate Director- New Zealand, dealing with retirement living, specialist medical providers, the pharmacy sector and primary health care.

Ian has an ongoing involvement in community health delivery, continuing his record of giving back to the sector and has worked in startup environments experiencing first-hand the challenges of implementing innovation.
