Trevor Cooke is CEO of the Commercial & General Group – leading property development, construction, and investment management firm with a $6bn track record in development and delivery throughout Australia.
In this role, Trevor has led the evolution of C&G into a multidisciplinary property and funds management operation with fully integrated development to delivery platform and is responsible for some of the most State significant transactions in South Australia and beyond.
Before joining Commercial & General, Trevor was the Managing Director and Head of Global Real Estate, Asia Pacific for UBS Global Asset Management and was responsible for the development and management of the company’s regional direct property and agriculture investment capabilities. In that capacity, Trevor was also a Director of UBS Mitsubishi Corp Realty and the manager of the Japan Retail Fund and the Industrial & Infrastructure Fund, two of Japan’s largest REITs with more than $10bn of assets under management.
In Australia, Trevor was responsible for UBS Grocon and its $500m investment into the 2018 Commonwealth Games Village in Southport, Queensland and was also Managing Director of AMP Brookfield, a global joint venture managing $8bn assets. Deeply passionate about equitable access to secure housing, Trevor is also on the Board of Junction Australia, a community housing provider for vulnerable families and young adults.
