What’s included in a Congress Delegate registration?
A Congress Delegate Registration includes:
Wednesday 25 May: Plenary Sessions and Oliver Hume Opening Night Event
Thursday 26 May: Plenary Sessions and Study Tours.
Note that the UDIA National Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner is ticketed separately and not included in the Congress Delegate Registration.
Is there an Accompanying Partners Package?
Yes. By popular demand the Partners Package is back in 2022! This is a great opportunity for partners (both female and male) of Congress Delegates to meet. The 2022 Congress Partners Package includes a ticket to the Oliver Hume Opening Night Event on Wednesday 25 May, Exclusive Partners Event during the day on Wednesday 25 May and a ticket to the UDIA National Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner on Thursday 26 May. A Partners Package ticket is only available with the purchase of a Congress Delegate ticket.
How many colleagues can I bring?
There is no limit on the number of colleagues that can attend from each company. Members can access a discounted Company Pass if there are 3 delegates or more from the same company. Members working at a Local or State Government can access a Government Pass with two or more delegates.
Can non-members of the UDIA attend?
Yes, non-members are more than welcome to attend.
Can I attend only one day of Congress?
Yes, day passes are available for Wednesday 25 May and Thursday 26 May to attend the plenary sessions and hear from our amazing speaker line-up.
Why is the Awards for Excellence an optional extra?
Member feedback from previous Congresses was that some people would like the option to reduce their time away from the office. In response, the National Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner became an optional extra in 2019, so that people can skip this event late should they choose to.
Can I make a change to my booking?
Your registration can be amended, however tickets to the UDIA National Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner are limited. If you do not book this initially, there is a chance tickets may be exhausted by the time you decide to add them to your Congress experience.
Can I attend the Oliver Hume Opening Night Event only and not Congress?
No. The Oliver Hume Opening Night Event is exclusively for Congress Delegates. Tickets are not available separately.
Can I attend a Study Tour only and not Congress?
No. Due to limited capacity on each tour, they are only available for Congress Delegates to attend.
Can I attend the 2022 National Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner if I don’t want to come to Congress?
Yes. Tickets can be purchased separately for the National Awards for Excellence Gala Dinner.
What accommodation options are there for Congress?

How do I get to Hyatt Regency Sydney from Sydney Airport?
Sydney Domestic Airport is approximately a 20-minute drive from Hyatt Regency Sydney depending on traffic. Alternatively, in around 30 minutes you can take the train from Sydney Airport to Town Hall and walk to the hotel. For more details please see Hyatt Regency Sydney website.
Is there parking at Hyatt Regency Sydney?
Valet parking is available on-site for a fee, alternatively guests can self-park for a fee at the following parking stations nearby.

SECURE PARKING: 186 Sussex Street, Sydney
Will my photo be taken?
